Ample, son bouquet s’exprime sur des accents fruités (myrtille, groseille, kirsch) ou fleuris (violette), évoluant vers le sous-bois, l’animal, le cuir, la fourrure, le poivre, la réglisse. Au palais, il est puissant et corsé, structuré, volontiers démonstratif : de la mâche et du corps.
